Kent’s overseas signing for the 2011 season, Wahab Riaz, has been selected by Pakistan to face England in the Test series starting in January.
The 26 year old fast bowler has been left on the sidelines by Pakistan since he was implicated by agent Mazhar Majeed in the recent court trial involving Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board are believed to have received clearance from the ICC allowing Riaz to face England in the three Test match series in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
Riaz hasn’t played Test cricket for Pakistan since November 2010 and his last international appearance was the One Day International against India back in March.
